The Reykjavík District Court finds it impossible to prove that Þóra Arnórsdóttir, former editor of Kveik, or other employees of the Icelandic National Broadcasting Corporation received the mobile phone of Páll Steingrímsson, captain of Samherji, hacked it, copied it and sent data from it to other media outlets.
The Icelandic National Broadcasting Corporation and its former employee, Þóra Arnórsdóttir, have been acquitted of all claims by Captain Páll Steingrímsson. He claimed millions of krónur in damages for alleged violations of his privacy by Rúv employees.
