As part of an investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, arrest warrants have been issued for 41 executives from 41 large distribution companies accused of manipulating prices in the fresh fruit and vegetable market and making unfair profits. Simultaneous searches have been launched at 109 businesses and residences across 22 provinces as part of the operation.
Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced the operation targeting fruit and vegetable distributors. Arrest warrants were issued for 41 people.
