- Posting to its Facebook page on Friday evening, Tumbler RidgeLines said the private funeral for 12-year-old Kylie Smith was cancelled `due to legitimate potential threats`. Smith's parents thanked supporters and said `Police are well-aware of the situation and are helping us through`.
- RCMP officers in the community have connected with the mayor and community leaders to ensure ongoing communication and a safety plan for affected people and the broader community.
- The small community of fewer than 3,000 people became the centre of attention, with a Feb. 13 vigil displaying a carved `TR` memorial and victims' names.
