- Poland's President Karol Nawrocki told the BBC that only Donald Trump, US president, can `solve this problem` by stopping Vladimir Putin, Russian leader, and ending the war in Ukraine.
- Last September, more than 20 uncrewed aircraft crossed into Poland from Belarus and Ukraine, which Nawrocki called `an extraordinary situation`, testing Nato's solidarity.
- Poland has raised defence spending to nearly 5% of GDP, and Britain deployed RAF Typhoon jets, Nawrocki praised British soldiers `taking responsibility for Nato's Eastern flank`.
- He warned Europe against detaching from the United States, saying it would harm EU economic and military security, and urged that the Greenland dispute remain between Denmark and the US.
- Next year he hopes Britain will invite Poland to the G20 as its economy grows, while Karol Nawrocki criticised European leaders for focusing on `not so important things`.
