Six months into the current financial year, 2026-27, have passed. However, the pace of government spending on development projects in Jharkhand remains painfully slow. Of the total budget of ₹1.06 lakh crore allocated for various departments, only ₹27,862 crore (26.24%) has been spent so far. That's nearly three-quarters of the budget, ₹78,338 crore.
