Online threats made against Liberal MP Chris d’Entremont following floor-crossing: RCMP

Police in Nova Scotia are investigating online threats made against the Liberal party’s newest MP. Chris d’Entremont, a former Conservative, crossed the floor to join the Liberals Tuesday. According to Nova Scotia RCMP spokesperson Cindy Bayers, the threats against d’Entremont were reported to Yarmouth Rural RCMP on Wednesday. d’Entremont represents the riding on Acadie-Annapolis, which includes Yarmouth. He was first elected to the riding, previously known as West Nova, in 2019.
