The Danish Society for Nature Conservation, the Danish Society for Animal Protection and the Danish Council for Animal Ethics want to ban the breeding of pheasants if the only purpose is to shoot them at the start of the hunting season on October 1. The hunters believe that both breeding and release can be defended.
