ROCKPORT, Ind. (WEVV) -- The Spencer County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on the night of December 18, in reference to a vehicle in a private lake.

Fatal Spencer Co. Crash Under Investigation

A vehicle crashed into a private lake in Rockport after going through a garage and backyard. The driver, identified as 38-yaear-old Matthew Gunn of Rockport was pronounced dead after being pulled from the water. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Spencer County Sheriff’s Office.
