One Arrested After Nanaimo Stabbing Sends Man to Hospital

- Reserve Const. Gary O'Brien stated police received a suspect description after the assailant fled; officers swarmed the area and apprehended an individual matching that description about 30 minutes later.
- The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries and remains in stable condition at the hospital. O'Brien noted police are continuing their investigation by interviewing witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage.
