Omaha Public Schools superintendent says OPD agrees to remove shock gloves, Bellevue police do not

OPS said the gloves could damage trust with students and parents, and police agreed to keep them off school grounds.

Council Bluffs police have no plans to give school resource officers access to electric shock gloves, according to Lt. Matt Brinkman, who heads the department’s Special Operations Group.
