Three years after a property developer from Gorinchem purchased the former Dokman bakery in the center of Dordrecht, the transformation into five apartments is finally starting. Real estate agent René van de Giessen calls it logical that retail properties are being converted more and more frequently. “Local bakeries are no longer relevant in this day and age,” he says.
