Ohio State to bring back upgraded all-black uniforms for upcoming season
On Monday, Ohio State officially revealed the Buckeyes will bring back all-black uniforms for the 2026 season, a combination the team has dubbed "Tunnel Vision."
First introduced in 2015 and last worn during a 52-21 victory over Wisconsin in 2022, the fan-favorite alternate uniforms have been a modern staple in the Buckeyes' rotation.
Developed with Nike, the updated uniforms feature a "silver flake" helmet finish and an evolved "Buckeye Stripe" on the sleeves designed to match the program's iconic silver helmet aesthetic.
Athletics Director Ross Bjork confirmed the team will select uniforms for specific games throughout 2026, with replica jerseys available in July and additional merchandise planned closer to the season.
While the specific debut game remains undetermined, the black uniforms are unlikely to be worn against Michigan, leaving potential home matchups against Illinois, Maryland, Oregon, or Northwestern as likely options.
