FBI Releases New Photos in Offset Shooting Probe
The bureau released images of two Chevrolet SUVs and urged anyone with information to contact investigators.
- On Tuesday, the FBI released new photos of alleged suspects and vehicles involved in the April 6 shooting of rapper Offset outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
- A large group assaulted 34-year-old Kiari Kendrell Cephus during the April 6 confrontation, with one attacker firing a single shot before attempting to steal his watch outside the casino.
- Investigators identified two Chevrolet SUVs—a matte gray Tahoe and a black Suburban—as getaway vehicles; the Suburban fled toward Hollywood while the Tahoe traveled southbound toward Miami.
- Following the shooting, rapper Lil Tjay, born Tione Jayden Merritt, was detained but faces no charges related to the incident, while Offset has recovered and left the hospital.
