PENNINGTON COUNTY, S.D. — Officials have released the name of a man who died in a single-vehicle crash on Thursday, April 2, five miles east of Scenic. John Waylon Miller of Rapid City was driving a 2007 Toyota 4Runner eastbound on Highway 44 near mile marker 92 and failed to negotiate a curve. Miller, 46, sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
