PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — As you prepare for your 4th of July celebrations, the Rhode Island Fire Marshal is reminding residents how to stay safe with personal fireworks. Fire Marshal Tim McLaughlin said the best way to stay safe from fireworks is to not use them at all. He also noted personal fireworks are illegal to own in Rhode Island.
