Odin Woman Killed In I-57 Crash South Of Dix
A 25 year old Odin woman has died after her disabled vehicle was struck on Interstate 57 south of Dix. Jefferson County Coroner Roger Hayse says Madison Burton was waiting on the shoulder for help with a flat tire when her car was hit by a pickup truck that left the roadway. Burton was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, where she was pronounced dead. State Police say a semi truck was also involved in the crash.
