The Miami Tribe of Oklahoma has commemorated the 200th anniversary of the 1826 Treaty of Mississinewas by adding the Chief Richardville House to its National Register of Historic Places.

In celebration of the 200th anniversary of the 1826 Treaty of Mississinewa, the Allen County-Fort Wayne Historical Society and the Miami Tribe of Oklahoma announced that the Akima Pinšiwa Awiiki, or Chief Richardville House, was added to the tribe's National Register of Historic Places.
