Wave of Nostalgia to Sweep over Gen X, Millennials with This Oceans Calling Lineup
The festival features over 40 artists performing across three stages over three days, emphasizing community and friendship, organizers said.
- On March 3, 2026, Oceans Calling Festival released its 2026 lineup, naming headliners Dave Matthews Band, Hootie & the Blowfish, Twenty One Pilots, Gwen Stefani, Mumford & Sons and Matchbox Twenty for Sept. 25–27, 2026.
- Marc Roberge, O.A.R. frontman and festival founder, says the event began as an idea among friends in a Rockville basement and grew into an Ocean City Boardwalk gathering.
- The lineup leans into '90s and early '00s nostalgia with acts like Hootie & the Blowfish, Matchbox Twenty, Everclear and OK Go, and several bands are returning to the boardwalk.
- Presale tickets go on sale Thursday, March 5 at 10 a.m. ET with pre-sale passcode signup online and public on-sale at 11 a.m. if tickets remain; three-day general admission starts at $360, one-day at $179, and the Ultimate package at $7,500.
- Beyond music, the festival will offer food demos with chefs Robert Irvine and Antonia Lofaso hosted by Jason Biggs, plus boardwalk access and Jolly Roger at the Pier amusement park.
