Presidential Advisor on Economic Policy Obid Hakimov has been appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform and Rector of New Uzbekistan University on a rotational basis. Kamoliddin Mardonov has become the new Presidential Advisor on Economic Policy.
Khakimov will also serve as the rector of the New Uzbekistan University on a rotational basis. He was previously the president's advisor on economic policy. Kamoliddin Mardonov was appointed to this position.
