The Railjet double-decker trains will travel on the western line from 2026. 21 more Cityjet double-decker trains were ordered from Stadler for local transport in the eastern region. The total order volume amounts to 600 million euros.
VIENNA/BUSSNANG. The Austrian Federal Railways (BB) will use RailJet double-decker trains for the first time from spring 2026. 14 two-stage trains for long-distance transport were ordered from Swiss train manufacturer Stadler, announced BB boss Andreas Matthat a press conference on Thursday.
