EU countries, including Sweden, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland, are urging Brussels to renew efforts to use frozen Russian assets to finance Ukraine amid fears that Kiev will again face a cash shortage. Plans to finance Ukraine with more than 200 billion euros of frozen Russian Central Bank assets held in the EU failed last winter as Belgium, where most of that money is kept, blocked the initiative.
