A 29-year-old Brooklyn man was arrested Tuesday after police say he fired a gun at a man in Brooklyn’s Sunset Park neighborhood, striking a 7-year-old dog.Adrian Benitez, of Brooklyn, was arrested at about 8:15 a.m. Tuesday and charged with attempted murder, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and aggravated cruelty to animals, according to an NYPD spokesperson.
