NY weather update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for part of New York will expire at 9 p.m.
The warning was issued for Allegany, Cattaraugus, Livingston and Wyoming counties."The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for parts of Allegany and Livingston counties until 9:30 p.m.," adds the National Weather Service.
Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Bradford County will expire at 9:15 p.m.
The warning was for Bradford County."The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire," according to the National Weather Service.
Update: The current severe thunderstorm warning for Finger Lakes, Southern Tier will expire at 9:45 p.m.
The warning was issued for Cayuga, Chemung, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben and Yates counties."The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire," comments the National Weather Service.

The warning was in place for Clarion, Forest and Venango counties."The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
