- On Wednesday, the Nuri rocket successfully lifted off from the Naro Space Center in Goheung, Jeonnam-Gwangju Special Metropolitan City, deploying 15 satellites into their target orbit.
- The rocket separated its first stage about two minutes after liftoff, followed by the second stage about four and a half minutes into the flight, reaching 570 kilometers altitude.
- Each Earth observation satellite weighs less than 100 kilograms and captures high-resolution images with 1 meter black-and-white or 4 meter color ground resolution.
- Korea AeroSpace Administration confirmed the satellites separated as planned, with telemetry data currently undergoing detailed analysis to assess mission performance.
- Once operational, the constellation will image the Korean Peninsula three times daily and revisit specific locations within 24 hours during emergencies such as disasters.
