The case of violence against people with intellectual disabilities at the Jordanów Social Welfare Home has reached a final conclusion. The appeals court heard the appeals of two former nuns and upheld their prison sentences. However, some of the charges were amended or eliminated from the first-instance judgment.
Bożena K. and Bronisława G., former employees of the Social Welfare Home in Jordanów near Kraków, were finally convicted of abusing mentally disabled residents.
