A second reactor at the Beznau nuclear power plant in Switzerland has been shut down due to high temperatures, the German news agency dpa reports. The first was shut down on Tuesday. A similar measure was taken this week at the French Golftech nuclear power plant.
The river Aare is to be protected from too high a load.
