UK-based Nscale signed a deal with Spring (SG) Pte Ltd, which is a subsidiary of Chinese tech giant ByteDance. The company did not make any direct mention of the TikTok parent in its filings for a U.S. IPO, while a supporting document only labeled Spring as a significant customer.
Nscale submitted to the United States a registration statement for an initial public bid that the company could value at $35 billion, but its records show a strong dependence on ByteDance and Nvidia chip access.
