The Russian hacking group Clop claims to have carried out a hack at Shell and Philips. The group says it is in possession of 89 gigabytes of information from the oil company. 13.5 gigabytes were reportedly stolen from Philips. Shell and Philips confirmed to BNR that an incident is being investigated. It is unclear how much money Clop is demanding to prevent the data from being made public or to sell it on.
