NPR's 'All Things Considered' Names Scott Detrow as New Full-Time Host

Scott Detrow, with nearly two decades in public media and an Edward R. Murrow Award, will begin hosting NPR's weekday show on Sept. 29 after Ari Shapiro's retirement.

Following the announced departure of Ari Shapiro from the flagship radio show "All Things Considered," NPR has called on Scott Detrow to become the new full-time host.
