Novo Energy restructures – reduces workforce by 30%

Battery manufacturer Novo Energy in Gothenburg – co-owned by crisis-stricken Northvolt and car manufacturer Volvo Cars – is giving 120 employees notice of layoffs. “A difficult but necessary decision,” says CEO Adrian Clarke, according to a press release.

The Volvo Cars-owned company behind the planned battery factory in Gothenburg is giving notice of layoffs to 120 employees. The notice at the battery company Novo energy affects approximately a third of all personnel.
