For thousands of Lowcountry residents, a toothache means choosing between pain and paying rent. North Charleston Dental Outreach (NCDO) exists so no one has to make that choice. As the only nonprofit in the Charleston area offering full-time dental care to low-income and uninsured adults and children, NCDO is reintroducing itself to the community it has quietly served for more than two decades.
