Sometimes a safety car helps a Formula 1 driver – and sometimes it installs the race. Lando Norris (McLaren) caught an unfortunate VSC timing in Madrid, thus losing the chance to win.
He started his Formula 1 debut at the Madring circuit from pole position and performed brilliantly. However, reigning world champion Lando Norris of McLaren crossed the finish line in third place. Both the driver and his team's CEO Zak Brown agreed that Norris was unlucky and deserved to win.
