Amid growing concerns of a new wave of migrants to Ceuta, Spanish PM Pedro Sanchez commended Morocco for enhancing its border security. This comes after Sanchez recently took a firmer stance towards Rabat.
The president of the government says that the mechanisms "were not enough" on July 30 and 31.
The Spanish leader stressed the "very large deployment of police forces (Marocaines), both at the Ceuta border and at the Melilla border, following alerts on social networks".

He said so at a press conference in New York, where he attends the UN General Assembly.
