The Election Commission has filed an affidavit in the Supreme Court on the special intensive revision of the voter list in Bihar. The Commission said that the name of any eligible voter will not be removed without notice and hearing. The first phase of SIR has been completed and the draft list has been published. The last date for claims and objections is 1 September 2025.
