Something must be recognized for El eternaluta (Netflix), Bruno Stagnaro’s adaptation of Héctor Germán Oesterheld’s graphic novel: it affects one’s perception of Buenos Aires. In fact, it was one of the virtues of the original: Vicente López, the River court, Barrancas de Belgrano, Plaza Italia, the Congress, were recognizable scenarios that, in addition, were charged with emotion when seen destroyed or corrupted by the alien invasion.
