PSP today warned of an increase in irregular immigrants arriving by train and bus to the metropolitan areas of Lisbon and Porto from other European cities.
The situation is not properly new, but, given what has been the perception of PSP and the analysis of data, these secondary movements in relation to Portugal have increased, says Chief Superintendent João Ribeiro, responsible for the National Unit of Foreigners and Frontiers (UNEF).
