No new Isle Royale wolf, moose estimates will be released this year after survey plane issue

ISLE ROYALE, MICHIGAN, JUL 15 – The Wolf and Moose Study group could not conduct winter aerial surveys due to lost aviation access, delaying population estimates amid a 60% moose decline since 2019.
