COVID Vaccine Deaths: Government is not responsible for death due to getting Corona vaccine, reply filed in Supreme Court
The central government has refused to take any responsibility for the alleged deaths due to Corona vaccination. In the affidavit filed by the Supreme Court, the Center said that it has full sympathy for the dead and their families, but it cannot be held responsible for any adverse effects of the vaccine.

In the affidavit filed on November 23, the Health Ministry said that though the government strongly encourages all eligible persons to take vaccine in public interest, there is no legal compulsion for the same.

The government also submitted that a strict liability on Union or State governments for administering the vaccine is not legally tenable, since the vaccines are manufactured by third-parties.
