Remains Identified as Missing 6‑year‑old Noel Rodriguez‑Alvarez in Everman Investigation, Officials Say
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner identified the remains through dental records as investigators continue prosecuting Noel’s mother on capital murder charges.
On Thursday, authorities identified human remains recovered at a home in the 3700 block of Wisteria Drive in Everman as 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner confirming identity through dental records.
Noel's disappearance in 2022 prompted a capital murder investigation into his mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, who authorities allege fled to India with stepfather Arshdeep Singh after a 2023 Amber Alert was issued.
Extradited and booked into the Tarrant County Jail in August 2025, Rodriguez-Singh currently faces capital murder charges; a judge ruled her incompetent to stand trial in April 2026.
Tarrant County District Attorney Phil Sorrells emphasized the case's community impact, stating "Noel was a child whose life mattered" and vowing to hold Cindy Rodriguez fully accountable.
Newly obtained jail letters offer insight into Rodriguez-Singh's state of mind while in custody, with her writing she is treated "very very bad" and that "God knows I'm not a bad person.
