Nippon Ham came from behind to win their fifth straight game. Trailing 0-1 in the second inning, Imagawa hit a solo home run, and in the eighth inning, a fielding error by Kurihara created a scoring opportunity with two outs and a runner on third, after which Castro hit the go-ahead RBI. Second pitcher Hori earned his fourth win. Softbank's offense failed to respond to a strong pitching performance from Moinelo.
