Nintendo Game Sales Surge Thanks to Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, but Switch 2 Hardware Suffers Big Decline
Software sales rose 18.8% on Switch 2 as Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream led Nintendo’s quarterly results, even as hardware sales fell sharply.

- Nintendo's overall business declined 15.3 percent year-on-year, a result the company stated was due to "the continued weakness of the Yen," while operating profit fell 16 percent in the second quarter.

- Looking ahead, 2027 promises new entries for Metroid, Kirby, and Xenoblade franchises, alongside the anticipated release of Pokemon Winds and Waves, following The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time launch.
