A few hours after the victory of Brother Domen, ski jumper Nika Prevc also gets an important success. Selina Freitag makes it to the podium - in Oberstdorf and overall.
Slovenian ski jumper Nika Prevc won the ski jump in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, in a competition held as part of the "Two Nights" New Year's Tour.
Nika Prevc (136.5 and 134.5 m, 271.1 points) convincingly won the New Year's Eve ski jumping competition in Garmisch Partenkirchen. In the first match of two nights for the World Cup in Germany, the Slovenian, who won this series in the previous two seasons, was second to home team Selina Freitag (127 and 135.5 m, 248), who was 23.1 points behind.
The women's final two-nights tour in ski jumping starts successfully from a German point of view: Selina Freitag lands in second place. However, the winner flies in her own league.
The remaining Slovenian women finished the race right at the tail end after the first jump.
