Nika Prevc (136.5 and 134.5 m, 271.1 points) convincingly won the New Year's Eve ski jumping competition in Garmisch Partenkirchen. In the first match of two nights for the World Cup in Germany, the Slovenian, who won this series in the previous two seasons, was second to home team Selina Freitag (127 and 135.5 m, 248), who was 23.1 points behind.
