Night Shelter for Asylum Seekers in Ter Apel Moves to Beilen

The temporary night shelter for asylum seekers who have no place to sleep in Ter Apel will move from Zuidwolde and Warffum to the event grounds in Beilen starting October 12. The Red Cross has confirmed this. The Municipality of Midden-Drenthe is making space available there at the request of the Minister of Asylum and Migration.

On October 12, a temporary night shelter for up to 200 asylum seekers will open in Beilen. With this, the municipality of Midden-Drenthe takes over from Warffum and Zuidwolde in Drenthe. The temporary reception locations in those places will close.
