Nicklason re-elected as Nevis fire chief

Brent Nicklason will continue to serve as fire chief of the Nevis Fire Department. Nicklason was not present at the Nevis City Council’s Monday, April 13 meeting. According to a city ordinance, which City Administrator Dawn Veit quoted in her written report, the council elects the fire chief every two years, unless the chief is removed for cause.
