- The agency charged Mohammad Rehmatullah Shariff, Mohammed Danish, Mirza Sohail Baig, Lucky Ahmad, Jishan Abdul Majid, Mir Ashif Ali, Abdul Salaam, Sharuk Khan, and Shaikh Faiz Rehman under sections 61 and 152 of the BNS and the UAPA.
- Authorities have arrested 11 individuals and apprehended one child in conflict with the law in this case, which began at the Vijayawada Town police station earlier this year.
- Further investigation in the case against remaining accused persons and other suspects is in progress, the NIA statement added, as officials continue tracking links to the banned terror group.
