The Viking Bay, a longliner based in Vigo and operating in western and central Pacific waters, is usually operated by about twenty crew members, but in the last few hours the disappearance of one of them, an O Morrazo sailor with a long history in the sea, was warned on board. New Zealand’s search engines have joined the operation with at least one helicopter, as confirmed by this newspaper in direct sources. The family has already been informed.
