Nepal's Food Technology Department spokesperson Mohan Krishna Maharajan said that the import of spices of Everest and MDH brands has been banned. We have also banned the sale of these spices in the market. This step has been taken after receiving news of harmful chemicals in these spices. Both these brands of spices are under investigation for hazardous chemicals. The ban will continue until the investigation report is received.
