New pedestrian crossing installed at 16th and 5th to boost safety in Weyburn

WEYBURN – A new pedestrian crossing is now in place at the corner of 16th St. and 5th Ave. N, supporting safer travel for pedestrians in a busy area of the community. The City of Weyburn recently installed two poles with flashing pedestrian lights and audible crossing signals at the intersection with support from the Government of Saskatchewan’s Provincial Traffic Safety Fund, administered through SGI. The program funded $10,936 for the project.…
