New Hyde Park presents tentative budget

New Hyde Park has presented its tentative 2026/2027 budget, trustees announced at their March 19 board meeting.  The total tentative budget is $8,157,852, a 2.46% increase of $195,850 over last year’s adopted budget.  Deputy Mayor Madhvi Nijjar said the budget includes an estimated 1.999% tax levy increase over last year’s budget.
