Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that "Digital Environment Security and Disinformation Combat Offices" will be established in 175 high criminal courts to accelerate the fight against cybercrimes and prevent disinformation activities that mislead the public.
Akın Gürlek said that with the new structure of the courthouses, criminal content and activities promoting crime in digital media will be monitored by specialized public prosecutors, and the detection of suspects and the necessary judicial proceedings will be carried out faster.
